Commissions

I do attend some (select) local markets and events with a selection of my baskets and other items for sale, however, I don’t keep a huge range of stock as I find that people very often want to commission a basket to their own exact requirements. I’m very happy to undertake commissions and will enjoy discussing with you the options and sizes available.

The images below are of the baskets I have produced in the past, they are intended to give an indication of the range. My baskets are mainly made in the English tradition but I also make celtic frame baskets (see below) and am enjoying making other useful and beautiful articles in willow for use in the garden and home that are not necessarily baskets. There is very little waste with basket making and many items are made from the off cuts. In fact, nothing is wasted, if I can’t make it into something it finds its way onto the fire to keep me warm.
